Tiger Tees To Miss The Autumn Carnival

Joe Pride / Tiger Tees

Last Monday Pride was just as critical of the surface after Rain Affair won the Carrington Stakes.
He declared Rain Affair would not race again in January and sent him to Tim Boland's Limitless Lodge for some respite on the water walker

Relief for Mark Kavanagh as tests show Atlantic Jewell is fine

MARK Kavanagh / Atlantic Jewel

"We have no special targets in mind at this stage. That will be discussed after we get an idea on how she does in her first couple of weeks' pre-training," Kavanagh said.

There was worry about Atlantic Jewel's back after she demolished Wakeful Stakes rivals by seven lengths.
"There has been an injury there, but it is well enough to say that she can go back into work," Kavanagh said.

The filly will start her pre-training by spending a month on a water-walker.

"If she's OK after doing time on the water-walker she will come into the Flemington stables, but if she shows sign of having one hair out of place we will be waiting for the spring with her," Kavanagh said.
